German courses and company internships (work experience)


Registration fee: € 175


The internship should consist of at least 4 weeks and be applied for 12 weeks in advance.
Requirements: Two-week intensive course of your choice and intermediate ability in the language (B1 level).
It is not possible to arrange internships for visa applicants. (Exceptions to this law are young people between the ages of 18 and 30 from Japan, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, who are able to complete an internship of up to 12 months in the context of a working-holiday visa.)

Eurodyssée and Leonardo da Vinci programmes: Internships with state sponsorship Since 2004, the Academy of Languages has been annually authorised by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry for Trade and Industry to conduct the “Eurodyssée” internship programme. The programme includes a four-week language course in Heidelberg or in another European country, culminating in a three-month internship.
Every year, the Academy of Languages organises internships also in accordance with the EU “Leonardo da Vinci” programme. (Grants for this programme are only available to EU citizens.)
