ACCOMMODATION FEES
Deposit: a) room in hall of residence or with host family: 100; b) apartment: 200.
Group discount: From 6 people = 5 % of the weekly price.
Move in: Sundays (09:00 24:00), Move out: Saturdays (by 14:00) (detailed information on page 18).
Double room bookings are only possible for joint arrival.
Meals:
- In host family accommodation, depending on booking.
- In all halls of residence / apartments there is a kitchen.
- For those not wishing to self-cater, it is possible to take meals in our school canteen or in one of our partner restaurants from Monday to Saturday:
Breakfast: 50; half board 95 (breakfast and lunch); full board 150 (Sundays are self-catering).

General information and transfers Use of PCs, Internet, WLAN
o All halls of residence and apartments described in the brochure (apartment Rohrbach 16 on request) are equipped with WLAN. In summer we rent additional rooms and apartments. Information about their WLAN facilities is available on request.
o Some family homes allow free use of the computer. Further details are available on request.
o You can use our computers in the school (50 PCs in three rooms) free of charge. WLAN is also available: 07:30 to 20:00 (Mon-Fri) and on Saturdays, 10:00-16:00.
Cleaning of rooms and communal areas: Please note that you are responsible for cleaning your room for the entire duration of your stay. F+U or the host family is responsible only for cleaning the communal areas (twice a week in halls of residence and shared apartments) and for the final cleaning.
Laundry:
o Host family accommodation: free use of the washing machine once or twice a week.
o Halls of residence, shared apartments and apartments: A coin-operated washing machine is available (except Rohrbach 16).
Bed linen and towels: Bed linen is provided, please bring towels.
Childcare*
o 12 per hour.
A cancellation of the room /apartment is possible with two full weeks notice. Notice must be given in writing.
Extend your rental contract promptly: We cannot guarantee extension of a rental contract. Please bear in mind that, particularly in high season (June to September), there is a high volume of new registrations.
House rules (selected):
o Smoking is not allowed in the halls of residence or apartments.
o Kitchens must be cleaned after cooking and crockery must be washed.
o The night-time quiet period from 10pm to 6am is legally protected (state regulations). During this time, all residents must reduce any noise to room volume.
o In host family accommodation, the hosts rules apply.
o Further details are given in the house rules handed out.
o Visitors are allowed up to 10pm.
o If you would like to invite a friend to stay overnight, this must be arranged with the residence administration. An overnight stay costs 10 per person. Guests who stay without permission will be charged a fine of at least one weeks rent.
o Violations of the house rules can incur a fine of 50; for repeated violations, we reserve the right to cancel the rental agreement without notice.
